6-6-6 (Sixes) Golf Game Coming Soon

Sixes, often called the 6-6-6 golf game, is a popular, social team golf format that adds variety and fresh competition to a standard round. Played mainly by foursomes, the round is divided into three short team contests that keep players engaged from the opening tee to the final hole. Because the game effectively resets after each segment, momentum can change quickly during the round. This constant shift makes Sixes a lively format, especially for golfers who enjoy a mix of teamwork and friendly rivalry.

What is Sixes Golf Game?

Sixes Golf Game is a rotating-partner team format for foursomes that divides an 18-hole round into three separate six-hole parts (1–6, 7–12, 13–18). After each segment, partners rotate so every player teams with each of the other players once. Each six-hole segment is scored as its own mini team match, and the player with the best overall performance across all three segments is declared the winner.
